About the retreat

Anji Baofu,
a small village inside the bamboo forests, like a beloved twinkle star surrounded with the mountains. Blessed with the local tranquility, a place inspires all the lovings and the beloved all the blessings we received. 

Live in a village sits over 500m high, experience a nature hike and culture workshops with he locals. The hiking will cross bamboo forests and experience an old path made hundred years ago.

Day 1

08:30 Departure from Shanghai
12:30 Arrive at Local village of Anji Baofu
13:00 Lunch together 
14:00 Start our hike into nature bamboo forest path 
17:00 Finish our hike and a bit rest
17:30 Local culture workshop - Rice dumpling "Zongzi" making  
18:30 Dinner
19:30 Bone fire
22:00 Good sleep

Day 2

07:00  Good morning! Stretch
08:00  Everybody gets up, breakfast together
08:30  Nature walk around into village
10:00  Departure to Anji hotspring

About the Hot Spring:

Jiangnan Tianchi hot spring is at the north part of the Tianmu mountain chain.
it locates in Tianhuangping, with an altitude of 1000 meters and its nature environment of high mountain and bamboo forest, featured her to be a great place to enjoy the nature and hot spring.

Transportation:
A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai downtown.

Meals:
The meals include countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy.
Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand.

Accommodation:
We stay in local guesthouse that we choose, according to their good service commitment.
Arrangements are usually twin bedrooms and occasionally in a shared dormitory.
Friendly and Family atmosphere. Clean and simple.

Equipment:
(Needs to be prepared by each participant)

- Hiking shoes and aqua shoes (necessary, paths are very slippery when wet)
- Hiking Jacket & Pants depends on season
- Rain coat (in case)
- Quick dry sports gear
- Swimming suit (for hot spring)
- Drinking bottle (no soft plastic, as often refill is with boiled water and it melts)
- Backpack to carry your things during the hike (~25L)
- Hiking Poles (optional, helpful with wet path and to avoid knee problems)
- Personal toiletries and towel
- Weather protection, according to the season

Activity Confirmation:
Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email with the last details about the trip. Usually 2 days before the departure.
If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants we will postpone or cancel the activity.

​关于此行:

安吉报福镇怀抱着众多高山小村，错落在山谷间间，我们于500海拔以上择一而居，山气通灵，溪水自峡谷奔腾而出，遇石回旋，溪床中不时穿插着小石坑，夏季溪水欢唱夜夜奏鸣，冬季冰期成为一个个小冰坑。如遇到，仲夏夜还不时有飞舞得萤火虫。

徒步竹林古道，沿着先贤的足迹寻觅报福的人文和自然，我们还将一同探索小村，跟当地人学习点心的制作，融入生活。

08:00  不同路线，探索村庄
10:00  启程前往安吉江南天池温泉
12:00  午餐
13:00  沐浴温泉
15:00  返程
19:00  回到上海

关于温泉：
江南天池温泉位于天目山北部，大约海拔1000米，竹林环绕，地质资源丰富，温泉属碳酸泉。
天目山脉在燕山时期火山爆发后经第四世纪冰川运动形成地下节理发达的裂隙板岩，岩层带能产生大量 二氧化碳，来自地壳深处的热力与渗入地下的淡水相溶形成碳酸，再融入周围板岩的微量元素，在上涌时冷却，成为带气泡的冷泉。

出发前，组织邮件将发给每一位参加者，通知集合时间地点，携带物品，及注意事项

集合地点：中山公园地铁站，3－4号线，3号出口（7－11 便利店旁）

- 个人洗漱用具，毛巾等

- 季节性的防护用品
（夏季防晒霜，防蚊，墨镜等防晒用品；冬季帽子，围巾等）
