About The Workshop
A workshop about Chinese tradition. In the past, fingerprints and handprints were used in East Asia - first impressed in clay, then printed on paper. Seals are often associated with an office or family, though personal seals are also very common. Earlier, similar devices such as the cylinder seals were used in Babylonia to make impressions on clay tablets.
After initiation class, continue our practice with passion, and go deeper to handle more skills for the seal carving.

Time 09:00-12:30 09:00 Review the basic carving knowledge, induction of further steps 09:30 Hands on - characters structure manage & mirror writing 10:30 Break & knowledge of stamp carving 11:00 Hands on - carving, teacher one by one teaching and check 12:00 Summary 12:30 Ending of the day Gathering Time: Please refer to the organization email which will send to you before departure. Usually 2 days before the activity. If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants, we will postpone or cancel the activity. Price: 199 RMB Payment is done by cash, wechat or alipay, directly collected by our activity leader No deposit required, however we kindly ask you to keep us updated , if you are unable to attend, after booking. 中国篆刻，是书法（主要是篆书）和镌刻（包括凿、铸）结合，来制作印章的艺术。
印先字，字先章；章则具意，字则具笔。刀法者，所以传笔法者也。
篆法、章法和刀法是构成篆刻艺术的主要条件。
向为历和文人墨客所钟爱，或自篆自用，或馈赠文友，钤记落款，观赏把玩，
可从中获得无尽的审美愉悦和艺术享受...
