as the formless and neutral witness of all phenomena.

About The Retreat
Hakka people is a strong community. From generation to generation they keep well the traditional culture of China, they builded the formation of rammed earth dwellings in the Fujian mountain area, and spend all their life keeping it since the song dynasty of China.
Hakka people believed in Daoist culture Fengshui too, they used local materials to created the great project : Tulou. Clay, glutinous rice, brown sugar, bamboo chips and other unique building materials made Tulou strong and durable, warm in winter and cool in summer.
Stay with the local, become a part of the community and get deep into the ancient culture, as the local people generally living for their life, we will choose to spend time with them as much time as we can, hike learn handicraft, lean the art of tea, all simple but native things to do. thus understand better their daily life. Thus the happiness comes from everyday life...

Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival --:-- Gathering at Nanjing railway station, private van to local mountain area Arrival, get to know our village neighbors Dinner with local and good rest! Day 2 Into its mountain 07:00 Fresh morning meditation walk 08:00 Local breakfast and tea 09:00 Get to know our local guide, following the ancient path enter mountain area, hiking around whole day but we will go slowly and enjoy nature as priority 12:00 Lunch 13:00 A break 14:00 Continue our hike 16:00 Return guest house, rest 18:00 Local dinner 20:00 Sharing and free time Day 3 Something about Tea... 07:00 Fresh morning meditation walk 08:00 Local breakfast and tea 09:00 We will start an intense hike of all the surrounding tea plantations. "Where the pure nature lies, where is the great tea" as we say in China. Simply the other way round, good teas only exists in good nature environments 12:00 Local lunch 13:00 Meditation, break 14:30 Visit the ancient merchant market where tea was traded finish the day by enjoying some of the different local teas. 18:00 Local dinner 20:00 Sharing and free time Day 4 Tulou Life & Handcrafts 07:00 Fresh morning Yoga/Meditation in Pagoda overlooking the village. Watch the sun rise and illuminate the Tulou buildings while getting deeper into meditation 08:30 Local breakfast and tea 09:00 Induction of the way how to build the Tulou, with local's history 12:00 Lunch 13:00 Meditation, break 14:00 Departure to train station and farewell Gathering Gathering at Nanjing railway station, private van to local mountain area. The last day transportation to Nanjing railway station. Meals The meals will be countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Accommodation We will stay in local guesthouse or local families (in some villages there is no guest house or hotel) that we choose according to their good service commitment. Friendly and Family atmosphere. Clean and simple. Equipment (Need to be prepared by each participant) - Hiking shoes and 1 spare leisure shoes - Quick dry sportswear (1st layer) - Fleece (2nd layer) - Hiking clothes and waterproof jacket (3rd layer) - Drinking bottle (no soft bottles because refill is often with boiled water) - Small Hiking backpack 20L (to be used in day hike) - 50L Hiking backpack for luggage - Weather protection, according to the season (Hat, Scarf, Gloves, Sunglasses, Sun Cream,etc..) - Hiking Poles (optional, helpful with wet path and to avoid knee problems) - Headlamp - Personal toiletries and towel - Small snacks as energy boost - An open mind (so good for every step of life)

If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants, we will postpone or cancel the activity. Cancel Policy will be followed as such:
Activity under 5 days :
- the cancellation is to happen 14 days before the activity, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 7 days before the activity, 80% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 2 days before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 1 day before or on the same day of the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.
Activity over 5 days (including 5 days):
- the cancellation is to happen 60 days before, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 31 to 59 days before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned.
- the cancellation is to happen 16 to 30 days before the activity, 30% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 15 day before the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.
* NB: the booker who cancels his/her booking may find a replacer for the booking, in which case all payment will be 100% returned.

the policy is designed to make minimum impact on all group members, and make each activity stable and reliable to all bookers.

客家人代代相守于丘陵，造就夯土民居依山就势，雄伟而不失精巧。 自中国的宋朝开始，客家人笃信风水，内守精神，迁徙至此就地取材 创造了奇迹的山区土高层建筑模式：土楼。 粘土、糯米、红糖、竹片等独到的建材让土楼坚固耐用，冬暖夏凉。 居于此地，成为古文化延续着的一部分， 如同当地人一般地去生活，品尝其中的苦乐才知生活的真谛。 我们将行于山野， 松紧有驰地融入当地的原住民人家， 学习手工，观瞻茶艺和茶文化的渊源， 简单而不失天真。 |

活动取消政策 :
为了大家安心于选择之活动的时间安排及协助更好计划假日，以下取消政策之制定旨在令活动更为稳定，更可信赖及更易于全
体参与人员更好的安排业余时光。
在收讫活动费用后，等于活动报名的最终确认。当参与者希望取消某活动时，YEJO Circle取消政策如下：
5天以下的行程 ：
- 于活动开始日前14日取消的，将100％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前7日取消的，将80％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前2日取消的，将50％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前1日或当日取消或未集合的，将不做退回费用。
5天以上的行程（含5天） ：
- 于活动开始日前60天取消的，将100％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前31到59天取消的，将50％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前16到30天取消的，将30％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前15天取消或未集合的，将不做退回费用。
贴士: 报名YEJO Circle因故不能参加活动而需要取消的，如找到替代者参加活动的将全额退款。
再申, 本政策之制定其目的在于最小的影响大家出行计划，令每次活动对于参与报名者更为稳定可靠。
