About the retreat
Towards the middle part of Zhejiang mountain and hill region, following the ancient branch of the Qiantang river – Caoejiang river and explore its basin.
With its unique shapes of mounts, waterfalls and brooks, it enjoys the fame as the Eyes of East China…

Itinerary
Day 1 During holiday time we departure in the afternoon at 14:00 and have dinner together in local 19:30 Departure from Shanghai 23:30 Arrive nature village and sleep Day 2 Sunrise in the quietness 08:30 Wake up, enjoy the breakfast together 09:00 Start hiking, go into the mountain of the Eyes of East China 12:30 Picnic lunch 14:00 Continue the hike 16:00 Back to the village and catch our breath enjoy some free time 18:00 Dinner 19:30 Sit around the fires, shower with the stars… Day 3 06:30 Rise with the sun, energize the day 07:30 Breakfast 08:00 Nature explore hike, a bit relax 12:00 Local Lunch 14:00 Free time in the village 15:00 Drive back to Shanghai 19:00 Arrival in Shanghai Transportation: A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai downtown. Gathering: Place: (unless notified differently) Zhongshan Park Subway Station, Line 3-4, Exit 3 Beside the 7-Eleven shop Meals: The meals include countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Accommodation: We will stay in a local guesthouse that we choose according to their good service commitment. Arrangements are usually twin bedrooms and occassionally in a shared dormitory. Friendly and Family atmosphere. Clean and simple. Equipment: (Need to be prepared by each participant) - Hiking shoes (necessary, paths are very slippery when wet) - Hiking Jacket & Pants - Quick dry sports gear - Rain coat (in case it rains) - Warm layers (depending on season:wind breaker, gloves & hat) - Drinking bottle (no soft plastic, because refill is often with boiled water and it melts) - Small bag to carry your things during the day - Hiking Poles (optional, helpful with wet path and to avoid knee problems) - Head lamp (optional) - Personal toiletries and towel - An open mind (so good for every step of life) Booking Procedures: Click here to book Activity Confirmation: Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email with the last details about the trip. Usually 2 days before the departure. If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants, we will postpone or cancel the activity. Minimum 10 persons, Maximum 29 persons Private Groups & Team Outings: Choose a date and we can arrange this trip especially for you (price is dependant on group size). Circle Cancellation Policy:

To assist and for the convenience of members,
The hereunder Booking & Cancel Policy is designed to make the activities more stable, reliable and much easier for the planning of all members.

Upon the collection of the payment, the bookings of one activity will be final confirmed.
When a member wants to cancel a booked activity, the Circle Cancel Policy will be followed as such:
- the cancellation is to happen two weeks before the activity, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen one week before the activity, 80% of the payment will be returned.
- the cancellation is to happen 1 day before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen on the same day of the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.
* NB: the booker who cancels his/her booking may find a replacer for the booking, in which case all payment will be 100% returned.
Again,
the policy is designed to make minimum impact on all group members, and make each activity stable and reliable to all bookers.

在收讫活动费用后，活动将最终确认。
当社员希望取消某活动是，精社取消政策如下：
- 于活动开始日前两周前取消的，将100％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前一周前取消的，将80％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前一日取消的，将50％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日当天取消或未集合的，将不做退回费用。
*贴士: 报名社员因故不能参加活动而需要取消的，如找到替代者参加活动的将全额退款。
