This hiking involves reaching the top of the mountain, which may take 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on a group's pace. This part is the most difficult one, requires good hiking shoes and hiking poles might be necessary as well. It gets slippery and more challenging in case of rain.
About the retreat
Immerse into nature in Zhejiang Yuhang, a transitory area between flat fields in the east Zhejiang
and mountains in the west Zhejiang. Around 400M high mountain - surrounded by nice rivers among green bamboos and pine trees.
Centuries ago, the first agricultural traces have been found here - named as “the dawn of humanity”...
Itinerary

08:00 Departure from Shanghai
11:00 Arrival at mountain area, start hiking (3 hours)
14:00 Lunch at the local restaurant
(due to our comfort during hiking lunch is planned a bit later, so please prepare few snacks to have before/during a hike)
15:00 Relaxing walk around the village
16:00 Return Shanghai
19:00 Arrival in Shanghai

Transportation:
A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai downtown.

Beside the 7-Eleven shop

Meals:
Meals include countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in a traditional way. Simple and Healthy.
Should you have some special requirements, please let us know beforehand.

Equipment:
(Needs to be prepared by each participant)

- Hiking shoes (necessary, paths are very slippery when wet)
- Hiking Jacket & Pants
- Rain coat (in case)
- Drinking bottle (no plastic bottles because refill is often with boiled water)
- Weather protection, according to the season
- Snacks for hiking
- Open mind (to get the most of this experience!)

Activity Confirmation:
Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email with the last details about the trip. Usually 2 days before the departure.
If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants, we will postpone or cancel the activity.
