About The Retreat
Shiyanping village in Hunan province, Zhangjiajie, where has been given one of the highest status of heritage villages in China.
It also therefore has been resulted in giving it outsiders an unique look into ancient China.
Villagers still live a traditional, simple lifestyle and are extremely welcoming to guests.
The local culture belongs to the Tujia minority, which are known for their festivals, traditional dances and arduous farming culture.

Day 1 Arrival --:-- Gathering at Zhangjiajie Airport/High Speed Train station private transfer to local mountain area ( 2.5 h to 3 h ) Arrival, get to know our village neighbors Dinner with local ( depends on arrival time ) introduction of the retreat & good rest! Day 2 The Mountain & Remote Calligraphy Museum... 07:00 Fresh morning exercise by walking slowly up the mountain to the hill pagoda. A great place for group meditation where we can let the mind enter a panoramic state of stillness overlooking the endless mountains of Hunan province. 09:00 Local breakfast and tea 10:00 Get to know our local guide, Explore the mountain trails by going on a medium-intense hike to the other side of the mountain and visiting a remote calligraphy museum. 12:30 Local farm to table lunch 14:00 Continue the hike even deeper into the mountains and circle back to village 16:30 Return guest house, rest 18:00 Local dinner 19:30 Sharing and free time 22:00 Good sleep Day 3 Wild Chinese Medicine Explore... 07:00 Fresh morning Yoga/Meditation 08:30 Breakfast together 09:30 Experience the life of a young local agricultural products seller. We will be taken into the mountains to go scouting for wild chinese medicine. After harvest these will be carried back to the village where the next phase of the processing will start...and let's discover the process. 12:00 Local lunch and tea time 13:00 Meditation break or free time before departure 13:30 Departure back to Zhangjiajie Airport/High Speed Train station 17:00 Arrival & farewell Transportation & Gathering First Day : Zhangjiajie Airport/High Speed Train station, Hunan Fixed time private transfer to local village Last Day : Departure to Zhangjiajie Airport/High Speed Train station with private transfer from village Meals The meals will be countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Accommodation We will stay in local guesthouse that we choose according to their good service commitment. Equipment (Need to be prepared by each participant) - Hiking shoes and 1 spare leisure shoes - Quick dry sportswear (1st layer) - Fleece (2nd layer) - Hiking clothes and waterproof jacket (3rd layer) - Drinking bottle (no soft bottles because refill is often with boiled water) - Small Hiking backpack 20L (to be used in day hike) - 50L Hiking backpack for luggage - Weather protection, according to the season (Hat, Scarf, Gloves, Sunglasses, Sun Cream,etc..) - Hiking Poles (optional, helpful with wet path and to avoid knee problems) - Headlamp - Personal toiletries and towel - Small snacks as energy boost - An open mind (so good for every step of life)

- the cancellation is to happen 14 days before the activity, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 7 days before the activity, 80% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 2 days before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 1 day before or on the same day of the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.
Activity over 5 days (including 5 days):
- the cancellation is to happen 60 days before, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 31 to 59 days before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned.
- the cancellation is to happen 16 to 30 days before the activity, 30% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 15 day before the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.
* NB: the booker who cancels his/her booking may find a replacer for the booking, in which case all payment will be 100% returned.

一日 "石堰坪..." --:-- 张家界机场或高铁站集合， 固定时间当地专车前往村子 （2.5 到 3小时） 视抵达时间，当地晚餐，介绍行程或休息 二日 “古道徒步..." 07:00 晨起，慢慢爬上山上的亭阁瑜伽/冥想 在这里我们看到湖南连绵的山峦，登高的全景，和静心绝佳之地。 09:00 当地早餐，早茶 08:00 认识当地向导， 在当地山中徒步翻越到山的另一边， 参观一个古老的书法博物馆。 12:30 当地直接由农地到餐桌的午餐 13:30 继续我们的徒步，深入大山，环线后回到村子 16:30 回到住家，稍加休息 18:00 当地晚餐 20:00 静享时光 三日 “野生药材。。。” 07:00 晨起，瑜伽/冥想 08:30 当地早餐，早茶 09:30 认识当地药农， 我们会在他的带领下来到山中采药， 回来处理药材等工序。。。 12:00 当地午餐 13:00 冥想 休息片刻 13:30 返程专车送往牛车河站 16:00 到达，惜别 关于交通与集合 第一天 ： 张家界机场或高铁站集合 固定时间当地专车前往入住村庄 最后一天： 专车送往张家界机场或高铁站 出发前，组织邮件将发给每一位参加者，通知集合时间地点，携带物品，及注意事项 关于用餐 当地特色的餐饮，土法烹制 如果您有特殊的需要请提前告知我们 关于住宿 住在当地简洁舒适的农家或者旅店 通常双人间或者多人间，根据当地村寨情况 携带的物品 （需要每一位参加者自己准备） - 适合户外的徒步鞋或登山鞋，再带一双休闲鞋替换 - 防雨透气冲锋衣及登山裤 (第三层) - 保暖层，例如摇粒绒 (第二层) - 快干衣裤 (第一层) - 徒步小背包，约20升，用于白天外出 - 50升徒步背包，用于装行李 - 个人水壶（可在当地灌装开水） - 登山杖（可选择性携带） - 头灯 - 个人洗漱用具，毛巾等 - 季节性的防护用品（夏季防晒霜，防蚊，墨镜等防晒用品；冬季帽子，围巾等） - 补充能量的小零食 - 开放的精神和思想，利于人生每一步：）
