About the Retreat
Observing reality as it is by observing the truth inside
—this is knowing oneself directly and experientially.
As one practices,
one keeps freeing oneself from the misery of mental impurities.
From the gross, external, apparent truth, one penetrates to the ultimate truth of mind and matter.
Then one transcends that, and experiences a truth which is beyond mind and matter,
beyond time and space, beyond the conditioned field of relativity:
the truth of total liberation from all defilements, all impurities, all suffering.
Whatever name one gives this ultimate truth is irrelevant;
it is the final goal of everyone.
It is the way we take for the retreat,
no matter the way we take into the meditation,
we use them as the boats entering the DAO...
Just sink into the ocean of Being.
Sit with this.
Use this life intelligently.
Be fully your Self.
Then your love can embrace the whole world,
and not just your family and friends.
Your will no longer pick and choose,
and you will not judge.
The Truth is already inside you.
The personality is but a mask.
The Self alone is real.
May the seeds of pure understanding
come into full bloom within your Being.
So be it.

Itinerary
Experience and adapt to the temple regular life, the timing is determined according to temple and spiritual practice. Day 1 “Buddhism & Meditation ” 08:00 First pick up : School Campus ; Second pick up : Follow school set up address (a break after two hours drive in high-way service area) 10:00 Arrive at temple 11:00 Temple vegetarian lunch 12:00 Briefing of the retreat 12:30 Temple visit & Buddhism philosophy introduction 14:00 Satsang (chanting, meditation,yoga philosophy) 16:45 Temple vegetarian dinner 19:00 Introduction of Mindfulness Meditation & Practice 21:00 Lights Off Day 2 “ Way of Life - Yogi ” 05:00 Wake up 05:30 Morning chanting with monks, breathing & body stretching exercises of YOGA 07:00 Temple vegetarian breakfast 08:30 Hatha yoga practice (yoga practice with energy balance, mainly through body movements, breathing techniques, and relaxing techniques) 11:00 Temple vegetarian lunch 13:00 Vedic chanting (chanting with health benefit) 13:30 Pranayama (breathing techniques) 15:00 Deep relaxation 17:00 Temple vegetarian dinner 18:00 Satsang (chanting, meditation,yoga phylosophy) 20:00 Sharing 21:00 Lights off Day 3 “ Practice and reflection” 05:00 Wake up 05:30 Morning chanting, breathing & stretching exercises 07:00 Breakfast 08:30 Hatha yoga practice (yoga practice with energy balance, mainly through body movements, breathing techniques, and relaxing techniques) 11:00 Temple vegetarian lunch 13:00 Chanting & Meditation 13:30 Summery and Sharing on Reflection on the retreat 15:30 Leave temple 17:30 Arrival Campus Included -Transportation From & Back to Campus -Insurance -Temple accommodation and meals -Teaching and yoga mats -Bottle water every day 2 bottles per person provided ( but we encourage you bring refilling water bottle, responsible travel ) Not Included - other expenses not mentioned in the itinerary Accommodation - Temple dormitory around 2-3 people in one room, with bathroom inside Food - Temple food will be all vegetables cooked in Chinese way, if you have If you have your special food requirement, please let us know before.
