Spend the first day strolling in the peaceful and typical Chinese village.
Discover local culture by hands on the ancient handcraft paper making and printing, and then finish the day with a cooking class dedicated to learn how to make traditional Chinese desserts. Continue our weekend on the second day - start with hiking among a bamboo forest in the mountains of Zhejiang, taking the pleasure of watching beautiful mountains and villages sceneries. Get to the top and enjoy bathing in warm natural hot springs...

Itinerary
Day 1 08:00 Leaving from Shanghai 12:00 Local Lunch 13:00 Explore the local village and people Culture workshop : Ancient handcraft paper making and printing 18:00 Local Dinner Culture workshop : Cooking class - Local Chinese dessert Day 2 08:00 Breakfast 09:00 Mountain and Bamboo forest hiking 12:00 Picnic Lunch 12:45 Arrive at top and enjoy the Hotspring and the hilltop views 15:00 From the village back to Shanghai 19:00 Arrival Shanghai Transportation: A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai downtown. Gathering: Time: 8am Place: (unless notified differently) Zhongshan Park Subway Station, Line 3-4, Exit 3 Beside the 7-Eleven shop Meals: The meals include countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Accommodation: We will stay in a local guesthouse that we chose according to their good service commitment. Arrangements are usually twin- bedrooms and occassionally in a shared dormitory. Friendly and Family atmosphere. Clean and simple. Equipment: (Need to be prepared by each participant) - Hiking shoes (necessary, paths are very slippery when wet) - Hiking Jacket & Pants - Quick dry sports gear - Swimming suit - Hiking or Sport Shoes - Rain coat - Warm layers (depending on season: wind breaker, gloves & hat) - Sun protection - Drinking bottle (no soft bottles because refill is often with boiled water) - Personal toiletries and towel - Small snack - Weather protection according to the season Booking Procedures: Click on the side link and follow the procedures.
