About the retreat
The best way to experience Chinese culture is hands on. Pick up our Chinese painting brush, with simple skills one can already feel the Yin and Yang energy flow on the Xuan paper.
A painting artiest will also share with us his/her experience with Chinese arts, also the experience and attitude of life.

Itinerary
Participants can join with no Chinese painting experience 09:00 Gathering in Shanghai 11:00 Arrive at countryside, meet local artist, a relax walk close to nature 12:00 Countryside simple lunch 13:00 History of the Chinese Landscape ink painting, structure 13:30 Chinese painting – Landscape painting (Shanshui 山水) 14:30 Break and sharing 15:00 Continue to the practice 16:00 Structure & knowledge of the art 16:30 Finish and sharing 17:00 Return 19:00 Arrive Shanghai About teacher Zhu Zhaohua, Art name : Di Qing, she was born in Zhejiang Tongxiang, since she was young, was passion about Chinese art, Buddhism and Taoism culture. Followed master painter Wu Ou Ting. Good at Chinese ink painting of the landscape. In 2012, she went to of Renmin university of China to study finished the further study of painting institute and became a student of master Peng Guo Chang. Now she is a special painter of Chinese art and calligraphy and painting research institute, director of Chinese painting art committee, deputy director of chang 'an China landscape painting institute, and painter of peng guochang landscape studio of renmin university of China. Transportation A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai downtown. Gathering Time: follow the itinerary Place: (unless notified differently) Zhongshan Park Subway Station, Line 3-4, Exit 3 Beside the 7-Eleven shop Meals The meals include countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Usually 2 days before departure. If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants, we will postpone or cancel the activity. Price 379 RMB Payment is done by cash, wechat or alipay, directly collected by our activity leader No deposit required, however we kindly ask you to keep us updated , if you are unable to attend, after booking. Circle Cancellation Policy:

To assist and for the convenience of members,
The hereunder Booking & Cancel Policy is designed to make the activities more stable, reliable and much easier for the planning of all members.

Upon the collection of the payment, the bookings of one activity will be final confirmed.
When a member wants to cancel a booked activity, the Circle Cancel Policy will be followed as such:
- the cancellation is to happen two weeks before the activity, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen one week before the activity, 80% of the payment will be returned.
- the cancellation is to happen 1 day before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen on the same day of the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.
* NB: the booker who cancels his/her booking may find a replacer for the booking, in which case all payment will be 100% returned.
Again,
the policy is designed to make minimum impact on all group members, and make each activity stable and reliable to all bookers.

当社员希望取消某活动是，精社取消政策如下：
- 于活动开始日前两周前取消的，将100％退回费用。

- 于活动开始日前一日取消的，将50％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日当天取消或未集合的，将不做退回费用。
*贴士: 报名社员因故不能参加活动而需要取消的，如找到替代者参加活动的将全额退款。
