Jiangxi, Wuyuan has a a long history of being one of China’s most skilled merchants home town.
Countless villages are connected with impressive ancient stone path, which allowed traders to efficiently travel through this mountainous region so they could eventually reach cities like Hangzhou, Suzhou and Shanghai. This drive for connection has created enormous beauty and wealth in the countryside which still can be seen to this day.
We are able to enjoy the harmonious architecture,
and step back in time by walking on the old ancient paths...

Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival --:-- Gathering at Wuyuan railway station, ( for estimation, 2h50min by HS train from shanghai ) private transfer to local mountain area (1h) Arrival, get to know our village neighbors Dinner with local ( depends on arrival time ) introduction of the retreat & good rest! Day 2 The Ancient Trail of Wuyuan... 07:00 Fresh morning Yoga Stretching/Meditation 07:30 Local breakfast and tea 08:00 Get to know our local guide, Hike and explore the ancient mountain trail: the most respected hike in the village around 3.5 hours we will reach to a temple ( only still one female nun in the temple ) 12:00 Lunch in the temple 13:00 Meditation break in the temple 13:30 Continue our hike 16:30 Return guest house, rest 18:00 Local dinner 20:00 Bonfire Sharing and free time 22:00 Good sleep Day 3 Something about INK.. 07:30 Breakfast together 08:30 Morning meditation walk: Step outside the village and start walking on the ancient stone path. 30min meditative walk to an impressive Banyan tree which is a great place for morning meditation. Enjoy how the mind together with nature starts to brighten up Continue the walk in the village and back 12:00 Local lunch and tea time 14:00 Workshop to learn the most important craft of the village, which has been passed on through generations: all natural, handmade INK. 17:00 Free time 18:30 Local dinner 20:00 Bonfire & Sharing 22:00 Good sleep Day 4 Slow Moments in Village 07:00 Morning Yoga/meditation exercise at the rooftop overlooks the ancient village enjoy sunrise quietly on the roof-terrace ( also possible to do yoga in case of rain) 09:00 snacks and fruits 09:30 Breakfast together 10:00 Small discover walk around the village and discover their life. 12:00 Lunch 13:30 Meditation, break or free time before departure 14:00 Farewell and transfer to high speed train station ( 1h ) Transportation & Gathering First Day : High Speed Train Station Wuyuan, Jiangxi Fixed time private transfer to local village Last Day : Departure to High Speed Train Station Wuyuan with private transfer from village Meals The meals will be countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Accommodation We will stay in local guesthouse that we choose according to their good service commitment. Friendly and Family atmosphere. Clean and simple. Equipment (Need to be prepared by each participant) - Hiking shoes and 1 spare leisure shoes - Quick dry sportswear (1st layer) - Fleece (2nd layer) - Hiking clothes and waterproof jacket (3rd layer) - Drinking bottle (no soft bottles because refill is often with boiled water) - Small Hiking backpack 20L (to be used in day hike) - 50L Hiking backpack for luggage - Weather protection, according to the season (Hat, Scarf, Gloves, Sunglasses, Sun Cream,etc..) - Hiking Poles (optional, helpful with wet path and to avoid knee problems) - Headlamp - Personal toiletries and towel - Small snacks as energy boost - An open mind (so good for every step of life)

- the cancellation is to happen 14 days before the activity, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 7 days before the activity, 80% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 2 days before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 1 day before or on the same day of the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.
Activity over 5 days (including 5 days):
- the cancellation is to happen 60 days before, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 31 to 59 days before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned.
- the cancellation is to happen 16 to 30 days before the activity, 30% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen 15 day before the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.
* NB: the booker who cancels his/her booking may find a replacer for the booking, in which case all payment will be 100% returned.
