About the Retreat
Seven consecutive days of silence...
self-transformation through self-observation.
Meditate following what Buddha teaches us,
Focuses on the deep interconnection between mind and body,
which can be experienced directly by disciplined attention to the physical sensations that form the life of the body,
and that continuously interconnect and condition the life of the mind.
It is this observation-based, self-exploratory journey to the common root of mind and body that dissolves mental impurity,
resulting in a balanced mind full of love and compassion.
The laws that operate one's thoughts, feelings, judgements and sensations become clear.
Through direct experience, the nature of how one grows or regresses, how one produces suffering or frees oneself from suffering is understood.
Life becomes characterized by increased awareness, non-delusion, self-control and peace.
as understand the method makes it easy to practice,
while it takes all the efforts to experience,
sometimes lifes after lifes to realize,
sometimes it is right now, or the seven days together...

Day 1 --:-- Airport pickup or Shanghai gathering place Departure from Shanghai --:-- Sleeping in the temple Day 2-8 Seven Days of Deep Meditation 05:00 Get up, morning board 05:30 Morning Session I ( one hour sitting meditation, 30 min walking meditation) 07:00 Breakfast 09:00 Day Session II ( one hour Sitting , 30 min walking meditation ) 11:00 Lunch break 14:00 Day Session III ( one hour Sitting , 30 min walking meditation ) 16:00 Outside Around Temple Walk 17:00 Dinner 19:00 Night Session IV ( one hour Sitting , 30 min walking meditation ) 20:30 Dharma Talk 21:30 Sleep Day 9 05:00 Get up, morning board 05:30 Morning Session I ( one hour sitting meditation, 30 min walking meditation) 07:00 Breakfast 09:00 Day Session II ( one hour Sitting , 30 min walking meditation ) 11:00 Lunch break 13.30 Sharing & Summary 14:00 Departure towards Shanghai Transportation: A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai gathering place. Meals: The meals will be as the temple food. All vegetarian, with country side local dishes, fresh vegetable on a traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Temple lifestyle: - We stay in the temple's facilities - Separate dormitories for male and female - Hard beds with blanket provided - Usually no A/C, not always hot water shower - Vegetarian meals - No smoking, no alcoholic drinking during the retreat - Silent Retreat (except question/answer time, always can have a walk outside the temple if required) - No mobile phones during the lessons and the meal time Equipment: (Need to be prepared by each participant) - comfortable clothes for meditation - a Blanket for warm keeping - sports shoes -Drinking bottle for hot water -Personal wishing kit, towel -Open mind Booking Procedures: Click here Activity Confirmation: Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants you'll receive an email with the last details about the activity.
