Itinerary

Day 1
09:00   Departure from Shanghai
11:00   Arrival at a destination - small town
After lunch, we will visit the local shadow play crew artists and get to know them.
After one shadow play, we will have the interview session with the crew and get to 
know the history and art behind the scene. And feel the pulse of the beautiful shows.
14:00   Start to learn how to make the shadow play
After dinner, either continue to make our own piece of art or go visit the town

Day 2 
08:30   Breakfast
09:30   Learn how to conduct a play, and do a show of our own with our own pieces!
14:00   Visit the non-material world heritage old artist
15:00   Visit the old town
17:00   Back tour to Shanghai

Transportation:
A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai downtown.

Gathering:
Time: 9 a.m.
Place: (unless notified differently)
Zhongshan Park Subway Station, Line 3-4, Exit 3
Beside the 7-Eleven shop

Meals:
The meals include countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy.
Should you have some special requirements, please let us know beforehand.

Accommodation:
We will stay in a local guesthouse that we choose according to their good service commitment.
Arrangements are usually twin- bedrooms and occassionally in a shared dormitory.
Friendly and Family atmosphere. Clean and simple.

Equipment:
(Need to be prepared by each participant)

- Weather protection according to the season
- Comfortable clothes
- Warm layers
- Rain Coat
- Drinking bottle (no plastic bottles because refill is often with boiled water)
- Towel & personal toiletries

Trip Confirmation:
Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email with the last details about the trip. Usually 2 days before the departure.
If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants, we will postpone or cancel the activity.

Price : 599 RMB

Payment is done on- site, directly collected by our Tour leaders.
No deposit required, however we kindly ask you to keep us updated if after booking you are unable to attend. Thank you.
