About The Retreat:
Shangqing Ancient Path, around 350 meters above the sea level, is a classic hiking route in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province.
Founded thousands years ago, Shaoxing City is a prestigious culture town, it's the home to many famous writers in China.
The thousand stone steps way, verdant trees and bamboos on both sides, scattered old houses in the small tranquil village, breathe out slowly now, and listen to this old dreamlike story performing by them...

Itinerary:
08:00 Gathering departure from Shanghai (3 hours drive) 11:00 Arrive destination and start hiking, around 4 hours 12:30 Lunch picnic in nature, enjoy the day hike with your rhythm 13:30 Continue the path, corss to visit villages 16:30 Finish, adjust breathing 17:00 Return 20:00 Arrive Shanghai Transportation: A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai downtown. Gathering: Place: (unless notified differently) Zhongshan Park Subway Station, Line 3-4, Exit 3 Beside the 7-Eleven shop Equipment: (Needs to be prepared by each participant) - Hiking shoes (necessary, paths are very slippery when wet) - Hiking Jacket & Pants depends on season - Rain coat (in case) - Quick dry sports gear - Drinking water - Backpack to carry your things during the hike (~20L) - Hiking Poles (optional) - Weather protection, according to the season - Open mind:) Booking Procedures: Click here to book Activity Confirmation: Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email with the last details about the trip. Circle Cancellation Policy:

To assist and for the convenience of members,
The hereunder Booking & Cancel Policy is designed to make the activities more stable, reliable and much easier for the planning of all members.

Upon the collection of the payment, the bookings of one activity will be final confirmed.
When a member wants to cancel a booked activity, the Circle Cancel Policy will be followed as such:
- the cancellation is to happen two weeks before the activity, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen one week before the activity, 80% of the payment will be returned.
- the cancellation is to happen 1 day before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen on the same day of the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.
* NB: the booker who cancels his/her booking may find a replacer for the booking, in which case all payment will be 100% returned.
Again,
the policy is designed to make minimum impact on all group members, and make each activity stable and reliable to all bookers.

关于此行:
上青古道位于有着鱼米之乡，文化之乡称的浙江绍兴。古为嵊州，绍兴两地相通之官商道，全长约30公里，分三段，中又连接多个走向的古道。经由间青石板铺设几近百年，甚为开阔，古者抬轿，骑马，挑担，巫医百工各色熙攘之声色尤可揣摩。
步行其上，错落间亦有古迹，人文可追寻，自然森林层层色彩绚丽，令人心怡身旷。

行程安排:

当社员希望取消某活动是，精社取消政策如下：
- 于活动开始日前两周前取消的，将100％退回费用。

- 于活动开始日当天取消或未集合的，将不做退回费用。
