About the retreat
Initiation to first creation,
following the coaching of our artist.
Through the unique expression of life with Chinese calligraphy & painting,
two full days of art retreat, we hope to open the gate of Chinese Dao of Being.
To understand better the philosophy behind the traditional art & its way to express of life,
by putting them into the devotion of practice of the art, leads us to the deep being.

About our artist
Zeng Yong, after the Master of Art education, followed Master Ying Canghai and Yang Guoping for pursuit of art.
in 2013, start to follow Master Wu Guannan on Freehand Brush painting of flowers and birds.
He is now,
- Researcher in Wu Guannan Freehand Brush Painting Research Center
- Special artist in Xu Beihong Memorial Museum and Wu Guanzhong Art Center
- Vice President of Yixing Bird & Flower Painting Association
- Vice President of Yixing Chinese Painting Association
Strong on painting of flowers, birds and nature sceneries,
his artworks are collected in Wu Guanzhong Art Center, Liu Haisu Art Center, Xu Beihong Museum and Beijing Museum of Art & Craft.

Itinerary

Gathering Time: Please refer to the organization email which will send to you before departure. Place: (unless notified differently) Zhongshan Park Subway Station, Line 3-4, Exit 3 Beside the 7-Eleven shop Meals The meals include countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Accommodation We stay in local guesthouse that we choose, according to their good service commitment. Arrangements are usually twin bedrooms and occasionally in a shared dormitory. Friendly and Family atmosphere. Clean and simple. Equipment (Need to be prepared, by each participant) - Weather protection, according to the season - Comfortable clothes - Rain Coat - Drinking bottle (no soft plastic, as often refill is with boiled water and it melts) - Towel & personal toiletries - We will prepare painting equipment for you (welcome to bring your own if you have) Booking Procedures: Click here to book Activity Confirmation Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email with the last details about the trip. Usually 2 days before departure. If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants, we will postpone or cancel the activity. Price 799 RMB Payment is done by cash, wechat or alipay, directly collected by our activity leader No deposit required, however we kindly ask you to keep us updated , if you are unable to attend, after booking. Circle Cancellation Policy:

To assist and for the convenience of members,
The hereunder Booking & Cancel Policy is designed to make the activities more stable, reliable and much easier for the planning of all members.

Upon the collection of the payment, the bookings of one activity will be final confirmed.
When a member wants to cancel a booked activity, the Circle Cancel Policy will be followed as such:
- the cancellation is to happen two weeks before the activity, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen one week before the activity, 80% of the payment will be returned.
- the cancellation is to happen 1 day before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen on the same day of the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.
* NB: the booker who cancels his/her booking may find a replacer for the booking, in which case all payment will be 100% returned.
Again,
the policy is designed to make minimum impact on all group members, and make each activity stable and reliable to all bookers.

以下取消政策之制定旨在令活动更为稳定，更可信赖及更易于全员大家的业余时光。

在收讫活动费用后，活动将最终确认。
当社员希望取消某活动是，精社取消政策如下：
- 于活动开始日前两周前取消的，将100％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前一周前取消的，将80％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前一日取消的，将50％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日当天取消或未集合的，将不做退回费用。
*贴士: 报名社员因故不能参加活动而需要取消的，如找到替代者参加活动的将全额退款。
