About the retreat
A green area hidden in south Jiangsu, Yixing. Surrounded by bamboo forests and tea fields, there most of the tea farmers keep their life simple and use nature material into daily life, mostly from amazing bamboos.
Enter the peaceful part of the bamboo forests and tea fields, with half day hike, we will get ourselves a deep breath there. Together with Yixing's famous hotspring, it will make the winter more warm and soft.

Itinerary
Day 1 08:30 Departure from Shanghai 12:00 Arrive at Yixing countryside, local lunch 13:00 Start our hike into nature tea fields, villages, enter bamboo forests 17:00 Finish hike and check in hotel 18:00 Dinner together 19:30 Relax in hotspring 22:00 Good sleep Day 2 09:00 Breakfast 10:00 Check out and leave for another nature explore 12:30 Local lunch together 14:30 Return Shanghai 18:00 Arrive Shanghai Transportation: A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai downtown. Gathering: Time: 08:30 Place: (unless notified differently) Zhongshan Park Subway Station, Line 3-4, Exit 3 Beside the 7-Eleven shop Meals: The meals include countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Accommodation: We will stay in a Yixing hotel, arrangements are usually twin bedrooms / king rooms, friendly and good atmosphere. Hotel double occupancy, if you want single occupancy, please inquire us the extra fee of room. Equipment: (Need to be prepared by each participant) - Passport for check in - Hiking shoes (necessary, paths are very slippery when wet) - Hiking Jacket & Pants - Swimming suite for enter hotspring - Quick dry sports gear - Rain coat (in case it rains) - Warm layers (depending on season: wind breaker, gloves & hat) - Drinking bottle (no soft plastic, because refill is often with boiled water and it melts) - Small bag to carry your things during the day - Hiking Poles (optional, helpful with wet path and to avoid knee problems) - An open mind (so good for every step of life) Booking Procedures: Click here to book Activity Confirmation: Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email with the last details about the trip.
