​About the Retreat

Thousands of islands all over the lake,
just like clouds in the sky.

As the sky falls into the water,
everything melts together and we are sliding into the melted world with a kayak,
opening the world of magic…

No matter if you are engaged in regular kayaking activity
or if it is your first time to travel in this special way: this activity is designed for everyone.

To master the kayaking skill it is also about adapting ourselves quickly to new environment
and totally surrendering ourselves into this situation,

​letting the joy rise…

Location:​ Zhejiang, Qiandaolu
Itinerary
(During the holidays, we might leave earlier or we choose to avoid the traffic of the holiday and leave on the evening before the holiday and keep the same departure time )

Day 1
(During holiday time we'll start the trip at 15:00)
19:30 Departure from Shanghai
00:30 Arrival at the guesthouse and sleep (~5h drive)


Day 2
08:00 Breakfast
09:00 Leaving for the lake shore 
10:00 Kayaking introduction and equipment on
10:30 Initiation Practice in the lake then together toward the islands
12:00 Lunch break near small island
13:00 Get into the water again, and start the island discoveries
15:00 Enjoying a break on one island…
16:00 Arrival at the camping island
17:00 Set up tents and prepare for dinner
18:30 Dinner together
19:30 Enjoy the bonfire and enjoy the night on the island
20:30 Good night sleep


Day 3
06:30 Early rise to live the quietness of the island life 
07:30 Collect tents and breakfast
08:30 Return to the sunshine and kayak peacefully on the lake
10:00 Take time to have a break on another unnamed island…
10:40 Continue our journey of water-world

Private Groups & Team Outings:
Choose a date and we can arrange this activity only for you

Included:
- Transportation to go and back 
- Public gears and camping tents, mattress, sleeping bags for camping
- Coach and guide

- 1 stay in a guesthouse and 1 night camping in wild island

Not included:
- Alcoholic Drinks AA
- Activities and expenses not mentioned in the itinerary 

Equipment:

- Water sports shoes (protection and water ventilation)
- Please prepare slippers wile we reach the island you can wear to release your toe
- Quick dry sports gear or Warm layers (depends on season)
- Drinking bottle (no plastic bottles, because refill is often with water)
- Small bag to carry your things during the kayaking (suggest water proof)
- Some snacks to energize 
- Personal Toiletries, towel 
- Sun protection, sun glasses, and hat, mosquito spray in summer
- Rain coat in case 
- Head lamp
- Swimming suits if you want to swim
- Water proof bag for your cell phone or camera
- Sleeping bag (comfort degree according to season, Spring/Summer: 15 -20 Degree, Fall and Winter: 0 - 15 Degree) and mattress
- Open mind :)
we will provide camping tents (2 people one tent), mattress, sleeping bags for you, if you want to use your own, welcome to bring them. And there is also big water proof bag for rent for free if you want.

Meals:
The second day lunch will be simple picnic, Saturday we will cook on the island Chinese food.
The third day lunch will be at local restaurant, countryside local dishes, fresh vegetables and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy.
Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand.

Accommodation:
During the first night we stay in a local guesthouse that we choose according to its good service commitment. Arrangements are usually twin bedrooms and occasionally in a shared dormitory. Friendly and family atmosphere. Clean and simple. 
The second night we camp on one of the islands. We provide two-people tents
 (to be shared with another participant).

Activity Confirmation:
Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email with the last details about the trip. Usually 2 days before the departure.
If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants, we will postpone or cancel the activity.

Circle Cancellation Policy:

To assist and for the convenience of members,
The hereunder Booking & Cancel Policy is designed to make the activities more stable, reliable and much easier for the planning of all members.

Upon the collection of the payment, the bookings of one activity will be final confirmed.
When a member wants to cancel a booked activity, the Circle Cancel Policy will be followed as such:
- the cancellation is to happen two weeks before the activity, 100% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen one week before the activity, 80% of the payment will be returned.
- the cancellation is to happen 1 day before the activity, 50% of the payment will be returned
- the cancellation is to happen on the same day of the activity, 0% of the payment will be returned.

* NB: the booker who cancels his/her booking may find a replacer for the booking, in which case all payment will be 100% returned. 

Again, 
the policy is designed to make minimum impact on all group members, and make each activity stable and reliable to all bookers.

After the activity, 
Please send all the pictures to YEJO,
​and YEJO will make a final version of the memories for everyone.

关于交通:
我们将安排专车自集合点到当地往返

关于集合:
出发前，组织邮件将发给每一位参加者，通知集合时间地点，携带物品，及注意事项
集合时间：以通知邮件为准
集合地点：中山公园地铁站，3－4号线，3号出口（7－11 便利店旁）

关于用餐:
第二日午餐将是简单健康的三明治，晚餐将在岛上制作。第三日午餐在当地的饭馆。当地特色的餐饮，土法烹制
如果您有特殊的需要请提前告知我们

关于住宿:
第一晚入住当地简洁舒适的农家乐，通常双人间或者多人间，干净整洁。
第二晚为荒岛露营，我们将提供双人帐篷和露营装备。

携带的物品:
（需要每一位参加者自己准备）

- 溯溪鞋 或 涉水鞋（保护脚趾及快速排水）
- 请准备一双拖鞋，登岛后解放双脚
- 户外快干衣 请多准备几套，寒冷季节请准备保暖层，防风户外衣裤
- 个人水杯（可续用热水的材质，可在当地罐装，环保卫生）
- 在划艇时用的小背包（携带当日水，食物及自用品，建议准备防水包）
- 一些能量小零食，补充运动时所需能量
- 个人洗漱用品，牙膏牙刷，毛巾
- 雨衣 以防下雨
- 头灯
- 游泳衣裤（游泳时用）
- 睡袋（按季节选择舒适温度，春夏15-20度，秋冬0-15度）及防潮垫
- 夏季时请准备防晒用品，太阳镜，运动遮阳帽，防晒霜，驱蚊水等
- 开放的精神和思想，利于人生每一步：）
我们将提供露营所需装备，帐篷（双人一个帐篷），防潮垫，睡袋，防水袋等免费使用，如你有自己的也欢迎携带。

精社社员活动取消政策:

为了大家安心于选择之活动的时间安排及协助更好计划假日，
以下取消政策之制定旨在令活动更为稳定，更可信赖及更易于全员大家的业余时光。

在收讫活动费用后，活动将最终确认。
当社员希望取消某活动是，精社取消政策如下：
- 于活动开始日前两周前取消的，将100％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前一周前取消的，将80％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日前一日取消的，将50％退回费用。
- 于活动开始日当天取消或未集合的，将不做退回费用。

*贴士: 报名社员因故不能参加活动而需要取消的，如找到替代者参加活动的将全额退款。

本政策之制定其目的在于最小的影响大家出行计划，
令每次活动对于报名之社员更为稳定可靠。
