About the retreat
Anji Baofu, a small village inside the bamboo forests, like a beloved twinkle star surrounded with the mountains. Blessed with the local tranquility, a place inspires all the lovings and the beloved all the blessings we received. Live in a village sits over 500m high, observing the melody of the rivers running out of the valley, and fireflies in summer nights. The hiking will be enter ancient path inside the bamboo forest, follow the traditional stone road to discover the magic energy of nature! Itinerary Day 1 08:30 Departure from Shanghai 12:30 Arrive at Baofu small village 13:00 Lunch together 14:00 Start our hike enter nature 17:30 Finish hike and back guest house rest 18:30 Dinner 20:00 Free time and bone fire Day 2 07:00 Good morning! Stretch 08:00 Everybody gets up, breakfast together 09:00 Another short hike in nature 12:00 Lunch 14:30 Return 18:30 Back Shanghai Transportation: A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai downtown. Gathering: Time: as organization Place: (unless notified differently) Zhongshan Park Subway Station, Line 3-4, Exit 3 Beside the 7-Eleven shop Meals: The meals include countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Accommodation: We stay in local guesthouse that we choose, according to their good service commitment. Arrangements are usually twin bedrooms and occasionally in a shared dormitory. Friendly and Family atmosphere. Clean and simple. Equipment: (Needs to be prepared by each participant) - Passport port for check in - Hiking shoes and aqua shoes (necessary, paths are very slippery when wet) - Hiking Jacket & Pants depends on season - Rain coat (in case) - Quick dry sports gear - Drinking bottle (no soft plastic, as often refill is with boiled water and it melts) - Backpack to carry your things during the hike (~25L) - Hiking Poles (optional, helpful with wet path and to avoid knee problems) - Personal toiletries and towel - Weather protection, according to the season Booking Procedures: Click here for booking Activity Confirmation: Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email with the last details about the trip. Usually 2 days before the departure. If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants we will postpone or cancel the activity.
