About the retreat
This retreat will focus on our "Presence" of Life. Be part of the world which is present as a drop in the ocean. All wisdom heads to this point, but every guide proposes a unique way to experience it. During this retreat, we will first focus on the body presence, then our body-mind presence and finally our presence to others, and lastly on the one to the world. To experience these different steps, we will follow some exercises and learn situations inspired from Qi-gong, Qi-Dance, Meditation, a trans-disciplinary research between Eastern and Western body-mind cultures. Gathering: Time: 19:30 Place: (unless notified differently) Zhongshan Park Subway Station, Line 3-4, Exit 3 (Chang ning road cross Kaixuan road) Beside the 7-Eleven shop Meals: The meals will be countryside village food, fresh and various kind of local cuisine in a traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Equipment: (Needs to be prepared by each participant) - Weather protection according to the season - Comfortable clothes for both indoor and outdoor practice - Hiking or Sport Shoes - Rain Coat in case - Drinking bottle (no plastic bottles because refill is often with boiled water) - Towel & personal toiletries - Small blanket (optional for meditation) Booking Procedures: Click on the side link and follow the procedures. About the teachers: Dr. Marceau Chenault - Qigong teacher Doctor in Sciences of Physical Education, Lecturer at East China Normal University, he's teaching Judo, Dance and Body Anthropology at the College of Physical Education and Health. His research concerns Ethnography and Anthropology of Qi Gong, Martial Art, Dance and Techniques of Body Awareness.
