Meditation is not a verb. It is a noun. Therefore, we do not do meditation but aim at living in meditation.
There is an urge in everyone of us to find happiness, tranquillity and harmony. Today, we are so engrossed in our day to day activities, in our intellectual and emotional tensions, that we have lost contact with our inner nature. Therefore let's take a step NOW.

Temple will be located around 2 hours drive from Shanghai, Suzhou countryside. Swami Anubhavananda, the founder of the SAT BHAVANA TRUST, is a true experience of happiness and a dedicated Yoga Vedanta scholar. As a spiritual leader, Swamiji has enlivened the fountains of joy in people’s heart, spreading his footprints across India, Australia, South Africa, the US, and etc. Now, with this divine breeze of Happiness, he is coming to China to share his paramount approach to life—Be Happy—with Just Yoga in Shanghai. As a widely sought after scholar, Swamiji is known for his simple and direct manner in delivering the obscure philosophical ideas. He has been honoured a PhD by the Inter Cultural Open University of Netherlands, especially for his studies into and interpretations of Bhagvad Geeta, Upanishads, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, and other indispensible scriptures in Yoga and Vedanta study. As is a prolific writer and speaker, Swamiji has over 250 spiritual texts and over 2,000 hours of lively speeches to his credit that will guide you towards Self-unfoldment and living an inspired life by "Being Happy". Transportation:
A private mini-bus will be arranged from/back to Shanghai downtown. Gathering: Time: 19:30 pm Place: (unless notified differently) Zhongshan Park Subway Station, Line 3-4, Exit 2 Beside the 7-Eleven shop Meals: The meals will be temple food. All vegetarian, with countryside local dishes, fresh vegetable in a traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Temple lifestyle: - We stay in the temple's facilities - Separate dormitories for male and female - Hard beds with blanket provided - Vegetarian meals, no waste food - No smoking, no alcoholic drinks during the retreat - No mobile phones during the lessons and the meal time Equipment: (Needs to be prepared by each participant) - Your own Yoga mattress (very important, don't forget) - Comfortable clothes for Yoga practice ,flexible, simple color, in summer T-Shirt is ok (Please dress conservatively and avoid sleeveless clothes, live by temple regulations as an honor towards the practitioner Bodhimandala. Please note that monks might reserve the right to ask to change or leave. - sports shoes, or simple shoes that can cover your tow (no slippers when outside your room) - Temple will provide simply hard bed and blanket,pillow. You can bring your own sleeping bag if you want to be more soft and more warm in winter season - Drinking bottle to refill water ( a bottle that can refilled with hot water, if you want to only drink clod water, please prepare by yourself ) - Personal washing kit and towels - Around 2-4 people a room, with bathroom, AC inside, depends on booking order - Good spirit and open mind ( very recommended in every step of life) ; ) Booking Procedures Click here to book Activity Confirmation Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email with the last details about the trip. Usually 2 days before the departure. If we are unable to reach the minimum amount of participants, we will postpone or cancel the activity. Price : 1390 RMB There will be 400 RMB deposit for booking the activity. If you cancel 2 days before the retreat and we could not find people to replace, 400 RMB will be not return. 自入寺之日起,一切起居、用斋、作息按照寺院内仪则,静心养神。
随瑜伽而修行,静心投入每一次呼吸,觉知自我。
冥想不是动词,而是个名词。
我们无法练习冥想,而应该每时每刻活在冥想当中。
快乐,平静与和谐是人类的普世追求。
而在纷扰的现世生活中,我们往往受牵绊于日常生活的繁杂琐碎,心智情感上的紧张压力,
从而与个人“内在的本真”渐行渐远。
这次的静修,将是带领大家回归“内在”的重要一步。
