About The Retreat
Two parts path hike into a mystery Hubei Valleys, to discover Enshi area,
From thousands years, the village Luyuanping only has the mountain hiking path to connect with the outside area, life still simple and quiet inside the around 40 families in the valley.
With sincerely believe the nature as god, The Tujia minority in Enshi they regard 4 gods with : mountain god, animal god, farm land god, and a god in charge of the growth of the Children. When we are really deep enter their life, would feel more peace and calm to join their simple belief. Also enjoy the local's food would be a great moment.
The amazing nature also lead us to discover the ancient river bed with all view of precipice, waterfall, cave, and forest.
All will be our exploration from our heart.

Itinerary
Day 1 "HuBei EnShi" --:-- Arrival to Enshi City and free explore All day gathering depend on your schedule This night we will stay in Enshi hotel Day 2 "The ENTRY Of The Mystery Village Luyuanping" 07:30 Get up, exercise and breathing 08:30 After breakfast we departure to the mountain area 10:30 Start our hike, enjoy the serenity 12:00 Road lunch no hurry 13:30 Arrive at the inner village – Luyuanping Meet the locals, explore village, take time to breath 18:00 Local dinner together 19:30 Bone fire 22:00 Quiet sleep This night we will stay in the local family, with only bed & shared bathroom Day 3 "Life In The Village" 07:00 Morning stretching 08:00 Breakfast 09:00 A hiking into the valley 11:30 Lunch back to local's home 13:00 Goodbye to the family and hike out the valley 17:00 Exit and back to town 18:00 Local Hubei Food explore in Lichuan This night we stay in Lichuan, guest house or hotel Day 4 "Life In Tujia Minority Village" 07:00 Morning stretching 08:00 Breakfast 09:00 A day life enter the Tujia' village 12:00 Cooking class with the local 13:30 Village Hike 16:30 Finish and return to our guest house 18:00 Dinner together This night we stay in local guest house, or back Lihuan will see the season of village hotel opens Day 5 “Mountain Hike In The River Bed” 07:00 Morning stretching 08:00 Breakfast 09:00 A day hike around 9km into the amazing river bed 16:00 Finish and return to our guest house This night we stay in Lichuan/Enshi, guest house or hotel Day 6 "Farewell" 07:00 Breakfast and see off everyone Return Home due to your schedule Transportation The meeting point is in Hubei Enshi City (Hubei Province). During the trip, we arrange local bus from/back downtown/village to Enshi city. Gathering Time: anytime at Day one check in and meet at hotel The next day we will start our activity departure from the hotel Meals The meals will be country side local dishes, fresh vegetable and meat cooked in the traditional way. Simple and Healthy. Should you have especial requirements, please let us know beforehand. Accommodation We will stay in local guesthouse or local families (in some villages there is no guest house or hotel) that we choose according to their good service commitment. Friendly and Family atmosphere. Clean and simple. Equipment (Need to be prepared by each participant) - Hiking shoes 2 pairs (necessary, paths are very slippery when wet), more socks - Hiking Jacket & Pants - Quick dry sports gear - Rain coat need - Warm layers (A coat during early morning and night) - Drinking bottle (no soft bottles because refill is often with boiled water) - Small bag to carry your things during the day - Hiking backpack 50L (no suitcase) - Sleeping bag (10C comfort) - Weather protection according to the season, like sun screen, hat - Hiking Poles (optional, helpful with wet path and to avoid knee problems) - Head lamp - Personal toiletries and towel - Small snacks as you wish Booking Procedures Click here to book Activity Confirmation Upon reaching the minimum amount of participants, you'll receive an email to confirm the activity with the last details, then you book your flights/train tickets to the gathering city. 自千年以来，鹿院坪的山民依靠着唯一的山道与外界联系，40多户人家，朴实，简单的生活任无多改变。山谷深处这一片净土汇集清澈的泉水，深潭，俊俏的险壁，慢慢行走，与当地一同经历自然的缓慢呼吸。
崇尚自然之神，土家族历来没有文字传承，他们信奉猎神，土地神，阿密妈妈和四官神，深入他们的生活方式，宁静和谐无处不在，人心之欲极素极简。当然，一起动手制作当地的美食亦是乐趣无穷。
再多一方的山谷，蕴藏着地壳神奇的运动，古河床贯穿洞穴，森林，悬崖，草甸，瀑布，身临其境皆在每一刻脚下。
这由心的探索，神圣而安详。
