Reach the real summit 5000 Meter by three days hiking into Mt. Siguniang.
Winter is very quiet in mountain area, with amazing pure colour and great sunshine! While we are joining the gathering from the local tibetan village, we were always invited by the nice people from local to get into their house celebrate the new year together.
Small rain makes the water town jinze much more quiet and mysterious.
We discovered many old bridges there which are build from Song and Yuan dynasty, around 800 years ago, when you cross it, feeing so close to the calm lives from a small town...
A weekend with nature, hands on tea picking...
Agriculture itself is a meditation, practice our respection to nature.
Several days, always feeling magic and good luck around us, thanks to all.
It was a fist touch of the Spring in Taihu area, all the tea trees starts new green leaves, mountain full of white flowers...Just find a temple down the hill, talking with monks sharing together the peaceful moments in nature.
Hope to see you next time!
On Saturday, Feb 27th, Chinese painting workshop will take place at the YEJO office. Zhutong, a Taoism practicer and an experienced artist, will share his unique knowledge with us. He has been learning Chinese traditional ink painting for over 30 years and he is especially skilled at painting bamboos. Let's feel the Yin and Yang energy through the brush and the Xuan paper!
Whole range of different activities took place during Chinese New Year!
Vast majority of them involved spending a lot of time among nature. Together with our YEJO friends we could admire bamboo forests, green valleys, beautiful rivers, streams or lakes and many more! We made the most of beautiful weather during this time and simply enjoyed being close to nature - breathing with fresh air, listening to the sounds of wind... All our activities provided perfect combination of challenge and relax. We entered the Monkey Year with fresh spirit and clear mind!
Hope to see you soon!
Last weekend, few YEJOISTS explored a tranquil and picturesque water town called JinZe. Being located still in Shanghai area, JinZe is a perfect place to spend a serene day... no tourists, but pure local life instead!
Hope you join us next time!

First hike in 2016 new year, we did around 15km hiking inside a valley, seeing interesting mountain villagers' life.
" Persistence. The ability to keep going no matter what obstacles are placed in your way.
The more action you take, the closer you get to your goal. Belief and Persistence go hand-in-hand.
As your belief level goes, so do you. If your belief goes up and down like a yo-yo, so will your success.
There is no way around it. So if you feel that your mind plays games with you. Focus and play games with your mind instead."

small group of people which only brought the warm feelings and close feelings being in nature.
As soon as we started the hike, everyone was amazed by the gorgeous views all around.. in the morning the fresh scent of tea in the air, everywhere we can see tea fields and even spotted some workers concentrating on the task of tea picking.
The greens of the trees, so incredibly green :) the sweet sound of birds touching us deeply in our hearts and bringing out an exhilarating feeling, this feeling that we get from being around too much beauty! The kind we can only find in nature. We hiked for hours, but never got tired of the amazing surroundings and the beautiful stones, majestieux, and the beautiful blue skies .
Chuanyan was simply breathtaking!
Nature can always surprise us...
While hiking in a still-green forest, we could see different kinds of trees - including bamboos! Apart from that, we all experienced peaceful countryside-life among people working in fields and appreciating every little thing we receive from nature...
