These names evoke the great outdoors, the herds of transhumance and wild horses in the plateaus.

Itinerary
Day 1. (Sunday) Welcoming Day at 18:30 On the arrival day after 18:30 at the equestre center or at 16:30 at the Valence TGV station Day 2. (Monday) 5 hours horseback La Chapelle en Vercors - Tourtres. Assignment of equipment, and first contact with our horses. Departure from Les Drevets, heading south, via the main roads track. The Libouse valley path, a series of small hilly meadows will allow us to reach the Souillet pass where we will enjoy our first picnic then, all afternoon we will follow the route of the vernaison valley to reach the mountain house of Tourtres. Arrival around 17:00 Day 3. (Tuesday) 6 hours horseback Tourtres - Pré-Grandu. The long forest path winding through the beech forest will allow us to reach the highlands nature reserve at the end of the morning, with 17,000 hectares of nature and space. Picnic at the edge of the forest near the herds of sheep. Afternoon, walks on small paths in the largest forest of pines with hooks, arrival at the forest house of Pré-grandu around 18:00 Day 4. (Wednesday) 6 hours horseback Pré-Grandu - Col du Rousset. A whole day in the reserve, passing Chatons at the foot of the Grand Veymont, exceptional views over the entire chain of the Alps, from the Obiou massif to the Mont Blanc massif with Mont Aiguille as the foreground (one of the seven wonders of Dauphiné) then we will approach the famous plain of Queyrie bordered by the Roman quarries. Picnic in Pré-Peyret then the afternoon will be devoted to crossing the plateau de Beurre to arrive at the end of the afternoon at our stopover of the day at the Col du Rousset, ski resort in winter, and tourism summer. Arrival around 18:00 Day 5. (Thursday) 6 hours horseback Col du Rousset - Font d´Urle. Brief passage in the early morning on the southern edge of the plateau to take the path carved into the rock to access the Col de Chironne, which allows a 360 ° view of the South Vercors, another place where you will feel the inner freedom... Arrival at the Col de Vassieux, pass through the Plainet fountain to allow your horses to drink, and then picnic in the forest. The route of the Grande Traversée du Vercors (GTV) will take us to the Font d'Urle plateau and to our stage of the day. Arrival around 18:00 Day 6. (Friday) 6 hours horseback Font d'Urle - Slow. Small climb at the start to the Pas de Infernet at an altitude of 1,700 meters, to discover the immense Ambel plateau, on which we will spend most of the day. Picnic at Ambel's farm, a refuge located in the middle of pastures with many herds of transhumants that we will carefully avoid. The forest track of the planotte will bring us to our stage of the day, the forest village of Lente and the lodging of Vercors. Arrival around 18:00 Day 7. (Saturday) Departure Day Lente - La Chapelle. Great morning in the national forest of Lente, crossing of the Loscence plain, and descent to the Relais des Drevets, last stage of our hike. Horse care, equipment storage, Meals at the relay. End of the hike and departure of the trainees at 14:00. The bus serving Valence TGV will arrive at the station at 15:00 Bus station on the Alps side. Food & Accommodation 
About Accommodation
You stay in different mountain huts. Accommodation is therefore simple and rustic (dormitories). However, it is possible to take a shower every day except for one night (the 3rd evening). About Meal All meals are prepared from our central kitchen in La Chapelle en Vercors, the midday picnic is transported in the saddlebags, the evening meals and the breakfast is transported by the stewardship van which brings them in the evening at the stage. Breakfast is traditional with coffee, tea, fruit juice, bread, jam and cereals, the midday picnic consists of various salads, cold meats or cold meat, cheese and fruit, the evening meal includes generally a starter, a hot dish with vegetables and / or pasta, rice or cereals, cheese and dessert. About Horses The horses have been selected by professionals, for their kindness and their aptitude for hiking. They are of all races, all very comfortable on hikes. About Saddlery Each horse is equipped with a hiking saddle, some with saddlebags for transporting the lunchtime picnic, recovery equipment or for the first aid kit. About climate : The climate in the Vercors region is rather cool because of the altitude, but in summer the temperatures are pleasant.
