Be a Responsible Tourist
How to interact during your trips in a responsible way?

1.) Empathizes with the environment. Put yourself in the situation of the persons (even animals) with whom you relate. Understand better their reactions to your presence.
2.) Learn from what you see to be able to adapt to the new environment. To travel is the best learning experience.
3.) Create a positive impact in the environment with your presence. Promote the fair trade and the local development. Reduce the negative impacts of your presence in the environment and the culture.
4.) Respect the local traditions, culture with appropriate behaviour and clothing.
5.) Patience and comprehension when you face strange and new situations.
6.) Dignity among locals and foreigners. There is no need to behave in a paternalist way or hide your origins, just be yourself.
7.) Safe resources, produce less garbage, use non-polluting items. Choose your path so it doesn't create generate so much pollution (safe time and distances).
8.) Help to protect natural ecosystems, don't pollute, respect the environment.
9.) Educate and teach also, especially among children, that the traveller is not a walking present (a wallet with legs).
10.) Buy only items that doesn't damage the local ecosystem and that are not prohibited. Preferably from the local production.
