The legendary horseback activity we offer in the Vercors are not just for adults,
Indeed, we also offer special departures in summer for teenagers from 11 to 17 years old.
We have the possibility of combining two weeks, by associating a week of training in the center then a week of itinerant horseback trek.
For the continuity of the stay, the young people will be taken care of on accommodation, catering, and participants can have a free weekend around.
Open to all level teenager,
from beginners to advanced, the riders are divided into groups level (beginner, intermediate, confirmed,competition) according to acquired knowledge equestrian.
Lesson will be in the circles or will alternate with rides, trotting in the forest and working on the course with natural settings, built on a forest plot of 8 hectares.
Passage of Federal Gallops Certification can be requested at the end of the stay.

Itinerary
Day 1 (Sunday) Welcoming meeting The meeting is fixed between 17:30 and 18:30 at the equestrian center to introduce the activity, our guide and the horses, or at 16:30 at the Valence TGV train Station (if you would like us to take care of the transfer ) Check-in, dinner and overnight in a guesthouse near the equestrian center. Day 2 to 7 (Monday to Saturday) The trainees are divided into level groups. 3 hours of riding per day are scheduled. The following topics will be covered and developed: work on the flat, setting in the saddle, obstacle, course in varied terrain, introduction to aerobatics, trotting or forest walks. Each trainee is responsible for preparing his/her horse before the recovery and provides care after (shower, cleanse feet, grooming). Each trainee changes horses for each start and finish, it is entrusted to him/her at the beginning of the week. It is called "piquet" horse that the trainee will be responsible for daily change, preparation, and check the general condition, check if it is feeding correctly, then at the end of the day put it back to box or in the paddock. Each trainee will maintain the equipment that is assigned to his/her horse. Of course our instructors are present to advise on the accomplishment of these tasks. Riders who wish can pass at the end during the week a federal gallop certificate if their level allows it. In this case they will also have to prepare the theory of galloping corresponding, our monitors and animators will advise them for this learning. To take the examination of a gallop you must have a valid federal license. The test will be conducted at end of the course on Saturday at 14h. About Accommodation
For 7 days training camp : The trainees are accommodated in the lodging of the equestrian center, building located very close, but independent, of the riding school and the stables. The rooms are intended for 6 trainees, with 3 bunk beds. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom with double sinks and shower. The toilets are independent. Storage shelves. We provide all the bedding, fitted sheet, duvet with its cover, pillowcase with its cover. It is not necessary to bring own. We ask trainees to tidy their room daily so that the maintenance staff can ensure the cleaning of the rooms and bathrooms and common areas. All bedrooms and bathrooms have a central heating radiator. For 7 days horseback trek : All meals are prepared from our central kitchen in La Chapelle en Vercors, the midday picnic is transported in the saddlebags, the evening meals and the breakfast is transported by the stewardship van which brings them in the evening at the training camp.
